Home Sweet Habitat: Children’s Workshop on Regenerative Design
Event description
Get ready for a fun, architect-led workshop just for kids, where we’ll explore the incredible world of regenerative design!
Join us for a hands-on event all about sharing a love of design and sustainability with young minds.
We want to show kids that we can do more than just create sustainable cities — we can design places that give back to the environment and the community.
In this exciting, interactive workshop, participants will explore seven key elements of regenerative design inspired by the Living Building Challenge: place, water, energy, health and happiness, materials, equity, and beauty.
Kids will break into teams to tackle a theme of their choice, explore their surroundings, speak with experts, and present their vision for how to make Adelaide the best place to live.
They’ll cut, draw, stick, build, and imagine the city of the future — then share their ideas for creating homes that help the planet thrive.
Let’s inspire the next generation of changemakers and show the world just how awesome kids can be in shaping a better future!
Proudly brought to you by:
