Event description

New Zealand composer/lyricist Luke Di Somma is HOME from Melbourne, and has gathered some of NZ’s finest singers to perform a selection of his own musical theatre and cabaret songs. Heartfelt and hilarious; poignant and personal; silly and sad, "Home: the songs of Luke Di Somma” promises to be a warm and inspiring night, just the tonic as we put the horrid 2020 behind us and look forward to Christmas.

The co-writer of hit musical ‘That Bloody Woman’, and composer/lyricist of ‘The Things Between Us’, Luke is one of New Zealand’s leading musical theatre writers, having studied in New York and had work performed in the USA, London, Australia and Aotearoa. This intimate and cosy show will feature sensational voices, master storytellers and features the man himself at the piano.

“He is a very talented composer of musical theatre, brimming with potential and a desire to use his talent to say something urgent and intense. I can't wait to see what he does next.” - The Press
