Hammers & Horsehair is a chamber music trio with historical flair. This year sees the return of their ever-popular programme ‘Homecoming’, combining classics from the 1922-23 NZ tour of Blenheim-born soprano Rosina Buckman, cellist Adelina Leon and pianist Percy Kahn, with anecdotes from their tour. After delighting and enlightening audiences in seventeen centres over 2021-22, the trio is looking forward to bringing ‘Homecoming’ to even more of Aotearoa-New Zealand in 2023.
