• Torch or headlamp with spare batteries

• Sunscreen, hat & insect repellent

• Trash bags — leave no trace

• Workshops run Sunday, so save some energy for healing & learning

• Chill zones = prime recharge spots — bring something to lounge on

• Extra socks = good times

• Respect the land, your neighbours & yourself

⚠️⛔️Homegrown Festival – Amenity, Dancefloor & Creek Risk Waiver⛔️⚠️

By purchasing a ticket and attending Homegrown Festival, you (“the Attendee”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms. These are legally binding and apply for the duration of your attendance at the event.

1.

Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

You understand that attending Homegrown Festival involves voluntary participation in a range of activities that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Dancing on natural or uneven surfaces, including outdoor dancefloors

• Swimming, wading, or entering the creek or water bodies on site

• Participation in fire twirling or proximity to open flames

• Use of camping areas, amenities (toilets, showers, water stations), chill spaces, and workshop zones

You voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with these activities and the event environment.

2. Liability Release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby waive, release, and discharge Homegrown Festival and TsvUnderground its organisers, landowners, staff, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries (including death), losses, or liabilities arising from or connected to:

• Use of event amenities

• Participation in any festival activity

• Injury sustained on the dancefloor or in the creek

• Property damage or loss

• Exposure to environmental hazards (e.g. insects, uneven terrain, heat, etc.)

  This applies regardless of whether the claim arises from negligence or any other cause.

3.

Swimming & Creek Entry

You understand that:

• Swimming or entering the creek is at your own risk.

• No lifeguards or supervision are provided.

• The water may contain natural hazards (rocks, slippery surfaces, strong currents, etc.).

• You are responsible for your own safety and that of any minors or guests you bring.

You accept full liability for any injury, illness, or consequence resulting from creek-related activity.

4.

Dancefloor & Physical Activity

• The dancefloor is outdoors and may include uneven or unlit terrain.

• You are responsible for maintaining awareness of your surroundings and dancing within your physical limits.

• Participation while under the influence of alcohol or other substances increases your personal risk.

5.

Medical & Emergency Consent

In the event of an injury or emergency, you consent to first aid and/or medical treatment as deemed necessary by event staff or emergency services. Any associated costs are your responsibility.

6.

General Conduct

You agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions and event rules

• Use amenities responsibly

• Respect others, the environment, and property

• Refrain from reckless, disruptive, or dangerous behavior

Failure to comply may result in ejection from the event without refund.

7.

Legal Capacity

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm you are 18 years or older (unless otherwise stated) and legally capable of entering into this agreement. If purchasing for others, you agree you have their consent to bind them to these terms.
