Description

Watch Me Bloom: Growing confidence, curiosity & big ideas 🌸

A hands-on morning of learning, creating and connecting, celebrating the things that make our children wonderfully unique.

Join Petal & Play Learning and Ali Collier from Confident Little Minds at Bibra Lake Reserve for a special homeschool gathering, exploring confidence, curiosity, creativity and big ideas.

Together, we'll create opportunities for children to discover their strengths, explore new ideas, build confidence and learn in ways that feel meaningful to them. Through a mix of hands-on science, creative experiences, problem-solving, nature exploration and open-ended play, children will be encouraged to follow their curiosity, share their ideas and have a go at something new.

🌱 Growing confidence: Create nature-inspired confidence crowns, decorate kindness and affirmation pebbles, and contribute to a collaborative Watch Me Bloom mural celebrating individuality and the many ways we grow.

🔎 Science & investigation: Explore hands-on science experiences designed to spark questions, encourage experimentation and inspire little discoveries.

🎨 Creative & open-ended play: Get creative with a variety of materials, sensory invitations and opportunities to make, imagine and explore in your own way.

💡 Big ideas & problem-solving: Follow your curiosity, try new things and discover that there's no single right way to learn, create or solve a problem.

Activities will offer different ways for children to participate, explore and challenge themselves, with opportunities to follow their interests and work at their own pace.

Recommended ages are 4–8 years, although children of all ages are welcome, including younger and older siblings.

🎟️ Ticket information: Every child aged 12 months and over needs their own ticket, including younger and older siblings. Babies under 12 months can attend free of charge.

Parents and carers stay and participate, making this more than just a learning session. It's a chance to spend time learning alongside your children, connect with other families and continue building a supportive local homeschooling community.

Whether you're already homeschooling, considering homeschooling, or simply looking for enriching learning experiences outside the classroom, you're very welcome.

🌸 Growing together

This special collaboration brings together Petal & Play Learning's hands-on, play-based approach to learning with Ali's work through Confident Little Minds.

Ali is a mum and qualified Youth Mentor with eight years of experience working with children of all ages in the areas of confidence and self-esteem. Through her creative stations, she'll be encouraging children to celebrate their individuality, recognise their strengths and explore kindness in ways that feel natural and meaningful.

Cassie from Petal & Play Learning is a qualified teacher, scientist and mum, bringing hands-on science, creative exploration and open-ended learning experiences inspired by the natural world.

Our shared aim is to create a welcoming space where children can explore, make, imagine, connect and simply be themselves. Just like nature, we all grow differently and at our own pace, and there's no one right way to bloom. 💚
