HOMO HOUSE //🪩// DJ KITTY GLITTER ✨
Event description
HOMO HOUSE, our iconic LGBTQIA+ party and longest-running club night, returns to the Mothership this February during a huge month of PRIDE in Auckland!
HOMO HOUSE is known for its unique blend of underground house music, including tech house and classic house tunes, all with our distinctively homo twist. HOMO HOUSE is our longest running LGBQTIA+ club night and has proudly been at venues across Auckland and has hosted some of the most iconic DJs from around the planet.
This Pride season, we’re thrilled to present a special edition of HOMO HOUSE featuring international sensation DJ KITTY GLITTER! Originally from Sydney, Kitty transitioned from a 10-year award-winning career as a drag showgirl to DJing in 2007. Since then, she has electrified dance floors across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the USA, Canada, Europe, and India with her signature blend of remixed pop, uplifting vocal house, and edgier vocal tech and circuit house. Known for flawless sets at clubs and circuit parties, Kitty consistently ranks in the top 10 most downloaded podcasts on Podomatic, cultivating a loyal global fanbase. A regular at Pride events and a standout at Sydney Mardi Gras for over a decade, Kitty has also DJ'd for Lady Gaga’s private “Born This Way Ball” party and Elton John’s CLUB LOVE event in London. Her playful energy and captivating style promise an unforgettable glitter storm, and we can’t wait to have her grace the decks at HOMO HOUSE in New Zealand!
Joining her are two of New Zealand’s top queer DJs: NIC TIMS and JORDAN ESKRA. NIC TIMS, a staple at queer parties and major festivals, has played at clubs nationwide and opened for legends like DARUDE. Our resident DJ, Jordan Eskra, is renowned for his signature high energy sets—all with a distinct homo and hands in the air twist.
This will be a Pride party for the ages! Saturday, Feb 22 10pm to 4am
