Join us for a special artist talk and intimate conversation at Theia, where we explore the healing force of creativity with emerging artist Audrey Briel.

Audrey’s story is nothing short of remarkable. After a successful international career and years of personal hardship - marked by illness, burnout, and profound mental health challenges - Audrey picked up a paintbrush in 2022. What followed was a slow but powerful reconnection with her sense of self, a rediscovery of joy, and the birth of a new chapter: as a full-time Fine Art student at the National Art School and now exhibiting her first solo show.

This informal afternoon event will be hosted by Samantha Fin, co-owner and curator of Theia. Sam will open with a few words about the power of art and introduce some gentle principles from Expressive Sensory Perceptual Therapy (ESPT) - a therapeutic modality she created that helps individuals reconnect with their sensory world, shift perception, and express themselves more authentically.

Together, Sam and Audrey will hold space for a heartfelt and honest conversation about art, process, recovery, and second chances. Expect warmth, connection, and a deep dive into how creativity can anchor, awaken, and heal.
