Hootenanny High Tea
Event description
Settle into the cozy glow of the Chapel Theatre for Hootenanny High Tea, a celebration of song, storytelling, and shared moments, presented by Arts North West On Tour as part of the 54th Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival. Over three afternoons (January 19, 21, and 23, 2026) the stage becomes a hearth for heartfelt folk, bluegrass, and blues.
Each date brings its own flavour: from the lyrical grace of Jhana Allen and Jane A Naoi to the toe-tapping energy of the Peel River Ramblers; from Carly Robinson’s fresh songwriting to Buddy Knox’s masterful blues and the genre-bending pulse of the Articulate Mutes.
The final gathering shines with Ash Morse’s radiant melodies, Crow Mountain’s tender harmonies, and the Rusty Pickups’ rollicking spirit. Sip, savour, and be swept into a warm, homegrown concert series where every note feels like a familiar friend.
