Event description

Love working with a Clothing Closet and Food Pantry? This service project is for you!

Come join us as Epic Charter Schools heads to the HOPE CENTER of Edmond for a day of fun serving our community!  The Hope Center of Edmond's main mission is HOPE... Helping Our People in Emergencies! They are a nonprofit organization, comprised of volunteers like you that help out in various ways. They have a clothing room, food pantry, housing and utility assistance, health clinic, etc.  If you are a student looking for service hours or credit, this opportunity will help fulfill your hours. To find out more information about this location, please click the link at the bottom of this page.

Through this on-site volunteer experience, volunteers will be trained in our clothing and food pantry departments. Tasks could involve the following: receiving donations at the door, inspecting and sorting received clothing donations, food pantry restocking items, and prepping food bags.

At your arrival time, a Warehouse Coordinator will welcome you and direct you on what the warehouse needs to do that day. Please make sure to sign in upon arrival and record your total number of hours.
