    Event description

This retreat is for singles and couples to rediscover themselves, through touch, intimacy and a conscious connection with horses. Horses have an amazing capacity to mirror our energy and bring consciousness to our habitual patterns of thought, emotion and behaviour. This mirroring has potential to shed insight onto the interactions in our intimate and sexual relationships.During the weekend you will experience mutual respect, emotional and physical boundary-setting, trust, intimacy and touch with horses. By highlighting what works and what doesn’t with a horse, a similar approach can be achieved with our partner. Re-igniting bonding, communication, feelings of trust, desire and improved libido with our significant other.Horses are tactile they encompass the tangible, sensual aspect of touch.

Touch plays a vital part in their happiness, their general well-being, and their sense of security - as it does with us. Touch encourages and maintains bonding and is a vital part of the herds social support system and a universal need for humans. Our co-evolutionary relationship with horses is distinct, they stand at the intersection of being wild and domesticated. It is miraculous that horses, with a thoroughly different orientation to our world, come together with humans in partnership, with trust and their unique form of communication. They contribute an unconditional, open hearted, third party, for us to experience bonding and a true connection to ourselves and each other.

Embodiment is a cornerstone of the horse experience. By letting go of our thoughts, patterns and conditioning we develop the ability to trust our body and align with what is. We then access our power and as we trust ourselves, we open a space for stillness, sensitivity and an empathetic physical dialogue exchange. We become vulnerable and congruent. How do we know? Intimacy and trust happens with horses as well as our lover. Becoming conscious of our actions, our behaviours and way of being is enriching, enlivening and dynamic and a makes massive positive impact to our intimate relationship.
