Critical infrastructure – delivering essential services – is vital to Australia’s prosperity and security. Recent cyber, trusted insider, supply chain and physical attacks demonstrate the ongoing threat to the secure and effective performance of critical infrastructure around the globe.
Within the Department of Home Affairs, the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Centre drives an all‑hazards critical infrastructure regime in partnership with governments, industry and the broader community. The Centre actively assists Australian critical infrastructure owners and operators to understand the risk environment and meet their regulatory requirements – for the shared benefit of all Australians.
