At Manjushri Buddhist Centre, we strive to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for everyone. As a community meditation centre, we embrace all individuals regardless of background. Our mission is to preserve and share authentic Buddhist traditions, guided by experienced teachers, fostering a sense of peace, mindfulness, and interconnectedness within our community.
Manjushri Buddhist Centre was named and consecrated by Lama Choedak Rinpoche on October 21, 2007. Even before our inauguration, and continuing to this day, we have been dedicated to promoting Dharma activities within the local community.
Our efforts include hosting esteemed teachers such as Lama Choedak Rinpoche and Khenpo Ngawang Dhamchoe for public talks, teachings, and workshops.
Since 2004, we have regularly facilitated the 8-week Calm Abiding Meditation course. We also offer Buddhist scripture classes at local primary and secondary schools since 2005, along with weekly meditation sessions.
Located in the picturesque historic village of Milton, just north of Ulladulla on the south coast of NSW, our Centre is surrounded by excellent accommodation and camping options, stunning beaches, and tranquil bush walks.
We warmly welcome all visitors to join our events and experience the serene environment.
