Black Fig Gallery is a contemporary art space in Alstonville dedicated to celebrating original, human-made art and connecting community through creativity. The gallery’s mission is to make art accessible, inclusive, and meaningful - to nurture local artists of all styles while encouraging people to consider the space they live and work, while also creating experiences that invite people to slow down, connect, and be inspired.
The Fig Fund is an initiative ran by Black Fig Gallery that helps make art accessible to everyone in our community. Funds raised through gallery events and workshops go towards supporting local artists, offering creative opportunities for pensioner and those in lower-income situations, making art truely accessible for all and ensuring that art continues to thrive as a shared cultural experience - not only a luxury.
Our Fig Fundraiser Events combine creativity with purpose. Each one features a guest host, speaker, or artist who brings their own craft and perspective to an afternoon or evening of art, conversation, and connection. From painting and ceramics to storytelling and live talks, these gatherings are designed to inspire, uplift, and strengthen the creative fabric of our community - all while supporting a good cause.
Join us for one of our upcoming events and be part of something quietly extraordinary.
