Swanbourne is set to come alive on Sunday, 16 November, as neighbours open their driveways, front yards, and verges for the first-ever Swanbourne Community Garage Sale, a morning dedicated to connection, sustainability, and local spirit.
From 7:30am to 11:30am, the quiet coastal suburb will transform into a walking trail of discovery, with locals selling pre-loved treasures, homewares, toys, plants, clothes, and more, all while fostering genuine connection between residents and visitors.
Led by local Swanbourne resident Bridget Robertson, the Swanbourne Community Garage Sale will see residents host their own garage sale at home, volunteer or simply explore the suburb on foot, picking up bargains, and enjoy coffee and breakfast from local Swanbourne vendors. Bridget will be working with the City of Nedlands to help promote the the event.
Residents can register here https://events.humanitix.com/host/bridget-robertson and will be provided with updates and tips, in the lead up to the event.
The event’s long-term vision is to earn a permanent place on the City of Nedlands’ annual calendar of community events.
