Dr. Louie Gardiner is the founder of Presence in Action; the creator of the P6 Constellation, Emotions Palette and Symmathesic Agency Model; and the co-originator of the PAI + Participation Compass. She is an expert in participatory planning and an experienced Coaching Supervisor, Executive Coach, facilitator & trainer who invokes profound learning in those she serves.
Grounded in her doctoral research, her pioneering, complexity-attuned approaches, frameworks, models and tools are at the forefront of the work she does with Presence in Action Collective CIC; as well as the EMCC and ICF accredited Coaching Supervision training she co-delivers alongside Jo Birch as part of Crucial Difference. She is a Fellow of the RSA. She is a member volunteer supporting the trust-building and reconciliation training of Initiatives of Change - a non-governmental fellowship of community changemakers whose contributions span the globe.
Louie is a passionate, authentic, wholehearted practitioner. Her empathic understanding of the dynamics and patterns that play out in human systems is born of her deeply reflexive engagement with herself, others, work and life. Her unconventional approaches enable those with whom she works to transition into new paradigms and to engage with themselves, life/work and with each other, with greater acuity, agility, fluency, artistry... and joy!
She is at ease with uncertainty and complexity; is adept at enabling dialogue across divides; and skilled at facilitating productive partnering within, between and across diverse communities, sectors and disciplines. She works one-to-one and with groups; and when invited, engages in whole-organisation and multi-sector leadership and change programmes that span complex professional and community contexts.
