I am a passionate advocate for digital education, with a focus on enhancing digital access and opportunities for remote communities in Queensland.
With over 20 years of experience spanning roles and partnerships with Education Queensland, the State Library of Queensland, James Cook University, and local councils, I have worked extensively with stakeholders and government bodies to bridge the digital divide. This has included contributing to Digital Inclusion programs that boost digital literacy and open economic opportunities in remote areas through strategic partnerships and innovative program delivery. My work has taken me across Queensland - from Brisbane to Bamaga, Birdsville to Mornington Island, and even into the Torres Strait Islands.
I also founded STEMMechanics, a business offering STEM workshops with an artistic twist for children across North Queensland, fostering creativity and a love for STEM. Driven by a commitment to digital inclusion, I strive to create learning environments that equip the next generation with essential skills for a digital world.
