Meet Your Host — Louise Stichbury
I’m Louise — a textile artist, designer, maker and creative adventurer, and the person behind Craft Village.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working with textiles, wearable art, upcycling and creative experimentation, always drawn to making things in unexpected ways and giving discarded materials a new life.
I’ve also created Craft Village from the ground up — building cabins, growing food forests, learning to work with the land and slowly turning this beautiful coastal property into a place where people can come, breathe, create and reconnect.
I love bringing people together through making and sharing creative experiences. My workshops are about experimentation rather than perfection — getting your hands busy, trying something new, following an idea and seeing where it takes you.
Craft Village is a reflection of that: creativity, nature, connection, nourishment, curiosity and a little bit of adventure.
