EMET is the Emergency Medicine Education and Training Program . EMET is an ACEM (Australasian College for Emergency Medicine) initiative funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health.
ACEM supports more than 50 EMET Hubs to deliver training and supervision to Hospitals and nursing posts within their region. The EMET Program enables Emergency Medicine Physicians (FACEMs) to deliver training for the entire emergency department team across rural sites that would otherwise not have this opportunity.
At the moment the NALHN Modbury EMET Team are providing Workshops and training to Nurses, Doctors, Medical Professional and Paramedics across South Australia including Wallaroo, Balaklava, Port Pirie, Gawler and the Barossa Valley.
