Event description

The program is funded by NALHN as part of the ACEM EMET Program. There is no cost to attend the workshop. Light refreshments will be provided on the day.

Clinical Lead for the program is Dr Tariq Nehvi, Director of the NALHN EMET Program and Senior Consultant, Emergency Department Lyell McEwen Hospital.

This workshop will at aimed at Nurses working in rural Emergency departments and facilitated on the day by Nursing Educators, however Medical officers, General Practitioners, Nurses and Paramedics working in Emergency Care settings are welcome to attend.

Registration is required and as numbers for each workshop are limited, please book early to avoid disappointment.

Topic: NALHN EMET NURSING EDUCATION - AIRWAY/ CIRCULATION

It will cover skills and education relating to airway and circulation emergencies that commonly present in rural Emergency Departments.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for this workshop. This workshop is not accredited.
