David is Professor of Earth Materials at University College London.
A qualified Mountain Leader, David provides geology CPD for mountain professionals and leads geology tours in the hills for the interested amateur.
Combining field and laboratory studies, his research looks at the processes occurring in the deep interior of the Earth and he specialises in field teaching of undergraduate students.
