Sandra Voss completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Harlem Yoga Studio and has completed level 1 of Yoga for Arthritis® training. She has been practicing yoga since high school and has found it especially helpful since she was diagnosed with Spondyloarthritis, an inflammatory arthritis condition that mainly affects the spine and feels better with movement and stretching. Sandra's classes emphasize mindfulness, accessibility, connecting with our inner experience; and finding the version of a pose that feels best in *your* body, rather than practicing in order to achieve a “perfect” or “fancy” pose.
Sandra is a co-founder of SpondyStrong, an online program offering yoga and fitness classes for people of all ages with Spondyloarthritis, AS/Ankylosing Spondylitis, and related conditions including Psoriatic Arthritis, etc. Classes and monthly passes are generally published a month at a time, at the end of each month.
