Sophia is the calligrapher and engraving artist of the studio By Sophie Rach Calligraphy based in Perth, Western Australia. Since discovering calligraphy in 2016, her love for the beautiful art of writing has only kept growing. Over the years, she explored writing with different scripts and experimented with various mediums. Today, Sophia provides calligraphy services beyond the traditional pen and paper, also offering calligraphy engraving on many different mediums and hot foiling.
Through her workshops, Sophia also hopes to encourage more mindfulness and digital detox, as participants rediscover the joys of creating beautiful works by their very own hands.
In her free time, she enjoys learning other traditional scripts, sketching botanicals, and reading.
