Public Listening Project is an is an ongoing series of collective listening sessions initiated by Xavier and Elsie in Naarm (Melbourne). It is guided by shared listening exercises that are loosely structured and collectively felt, creating spaces for deep listening that bring together local and international artists. Through takeovers of local venues and independent community radio stations, PLP explores listening as a shared social experience that extends beyond the dance floor and into broadcast.
STASIS is a collective rooted in sound, stillness, and reflection. In stasis, sound is not just heard, it is inhabited, encouraging a deeper awareness.
Each event features a diverse lineup of musicians, selectors, and performers gathering to create space for reflection while raising funds for communities affected by violence, displacement, and systemic injustice.
For the EP launch of Executive Function by SPIT, Public Listening Project and STASIS present SPAT where we transform the venue into a shared space for collective listening, movement and exchange bringing together live performance, installations and DJ's.
