The Adelaide University Sustainable Aviation Team leads the Australia–China Cooperation for Sustainable Aviation (ACCSA) project (2026–2028), building on the successful UniSA Sustainable Aviation Team SAF program (2024–2026). Our work focuses on raising awareness among stakeholders across Australia and China about the potential of the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry through seminars, workshops, and publications, helping farmers, investors, and industry partners prepare to capitalise on emerging SAF business opportunities.
Both projects are proudly supported by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) through the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations (NFACR). Led by Principal Investigator Professor Shane Zhang, the team continues to strengthen bilateral collaboration and advance the transition to a more sustainable aviation sector.
