House End of Year Celebrations 2023
Event description
As we approach the end of Term 3, our thoughts turn to next term and our annual end of year celebrations for the Houses. They are a chance for each House whānau to come together to look back upon and celebrate the school year. They are especially significant for families of students in Year 13. For these students, it is one of the last occasions that they will be part of a whole House event.
Please note that this year we are scaling back these events to keep costs as affordable as possible. As such, there will be light finger food (platters) available at tables rather than a full dinner served. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from the bar on the night. Timings have been altered to ensure the event finishes early enough for families who may wish to have dinner at home following the event.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us for this key school event. All House end of year celebrations will be held in the School Hall, with arrival from 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start. The scheduled date for each House is shown below:
- Aitken - Tuesday 10 October
- Fergusson - Wednesday 11 October
- Glasgow – Monday 16 October
- MacKenzie – Wednesday 18 October
- Mawson – Thursday 12 October
- Plimmer – Tuesday 17 October
- Smith – Monday 9 October
- Uttley – Friday 13 October
The cost of a ticket will be $20 per person.
