House of Absolut Presents: Rainbow Routes

The House of Absolut presents: Rainbow Routes - a historical and educational queer double-decker bus tour traversing the streets of Sydney! Hosted by the inimitable Vanessa Wagner, Rainbow Routes will be taking riders on a journey through Sydney’s queer history, from parties and marches, to places and moments.

Taking place on the 23rd and 24th of February, Rainbow Routes will feature live entertainment from renowned queer performers both onboard and at stops en route, such as Paul Mac, the Dollar Bin Darlings, Vetta Borne, Sean Miley Moore, and a few more surprises along the way!

Travel through time from ‘78 to today, with guided curation by Kat Dopper of Heaps Gay and Summer Camp. From Dykehardt to The Beat and everything in between, the outrageous, yet informative, party bus will pay homage to and recreate iconic moments in Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ story. All proceeds will be going to ACON, a NSW-based health organisation specialising in HIV prevention and support.

Arrive at 2:30pm for a 3pm departure from an inner city location (to be sent via email prior to the event), rounding out the evening in the Inner West with your chosen family!
