The return of πππππππππ, playing their first show in over five years.
Treehouse formed in 2010 at the College across the road from Rosny Barn and over the next seven or so years became one of the most beloved and revered bands of the Brisbane Hotel era of nipaluana/Hobart underground music. The inseparable trio of Callum Cusick, Will Mann and Jon Love released two LPs of their glorious post punk, βInterzoneβ (2014, Vacant Valley) and βCentre of Their Worldβ (2017, Bedroom Suck) as well as a number of self released cassettes, which became the soundtrack to sharehouses across Hobart and beyond.
After honing their often raucous and always unmissable live shows in lounge rooms and pubs in their hometown, Treehouse garnered a national following with regular tours throughout Australia and NZ. Since they last played together, the members have kept busy in various bands including All the Weathers and Down Under, but Treehouse has maintained a cult following of dedicated fans, whose calls and pleas for a reunion have finally been answered.
For this momentous return performance, Treehouse are joined byβ¦
