Doors will open at 6:15pm and seating is first come, first serve. Therefore, arriving early will result in the best seating. Tickets can also be purchased at Ace Hardware in Mitchell, IN, and at the door the night of the show. Please refrain from bringing any outside food or beverages into the Opera House.

Originally built in 1906 and completely restored in 2015, the historic Mitchell Opera House enjoys a rich tradition of community events, film screenings and live music entertainment. Recalling the days when the Monon Line connected with the B&O Railroad, the Opera House now serves as a permanent hub for the arts in Southern Indiana.

With a stage once graced by Broadway’s biggest stars, leading films and their producers, and even the President of the United States, the Mitchell Opera House invites you back to a simpler time. Buy a ticket, bring the family, and try to keep your toes from tapping!

Event tickets can be purchased in advance here on our website through Humanitix, or at ACE/Ben Franklin in Mitchell. Tickets are also available at the door the night of the event.
