Our first, second and thrid community forums brought together people deeply concerned about the growing housing and homelessness crisis in our region. Together, we identified practical short-term responses and longer-term solutions.

Since then, community members have begun taking action, undertaking research and presenting ideas to government.

We know the sleepers at Wilks Park have been given move on notices and part of our discussion will be our response to that inhumane action.

This is not about politics, it’s about people.

Everyone is welcome, including community members, service providers, faith groups, local organisations - everyone who wants to be part of practical solutions.

No one in our community should be left without safe shelter.
