Event description

When attending a professional theatrical production, the audience usually only sees some of the people who are responsible for bringing it to life: the actors, and sometimes musicians and stagehands. HOW BROADWAY WORKS celebrates the people without whom a professional production would be impossible. Join us on Thursday, May 16th for a conversation with Sharon Powers and some of the unsung heroes of Broadway to discuss Powers’ new book, HOW BROADWAY WORKS, featuring Evan Adamson (Associate Set Designer), Jessica Dermody (Wardrobe Supervisor), Carin Ford (Mixer), Polly Kinney (Beader), John Miller (Music Supervisor) and Margaret Peot (Fabric Painter).
