Discussions about climate change, however, often exclude and alienate. A new partnership reaches ‘outside the bubble’ to normalise climate action for all Australians through trusted leaders from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and our national sport, cricket. Join Cricket for Climate, Climate Outreach and Multicultural Leadership Initiative in an immersive experience of storytelling, dance, panels and workshopping, that explores how we can all build broad-based social license for climate action.

Climate Outreach

We are leading experts in climate change communications.

Each year we help hundreds of organisations across the world tell the climate stories that resonate with their communities. We have 20 years of research and insight into how to make these stories as powerful and impactful as possible.

We have recently begun work in Australia. Our vision is to make climate change an issue that unites all Australians and motivates us to take action.

Cricket for Climate

Founded in 2021 by Australian Men's Cricket Captain Pat Cummins – exists to ensure there is 'cricket forever' by leading and building resilience for the game and community. We engage and collaborate with the cricket community, business, government and others to elevate the impacts of climate on our game, deliver clean energy and sustainability solutions and motivate millions of cricket fans to embrace climate action.

We’re creating a movement to get wide-spread adoption of sustainability solutions including; innovative clean energy solutions across clubs to help them save money on energy, education to inspire cricket players and community to adopt solutions, and convening of cricket, business, government and other sports to collaborate for greater impact.

Multicultural Leadership Initiative (MLI)

The Multicultural Leadership Initiative (MLI) is on a mission to inspire the nearly 1 in 2 Australians who identify as racially, culturally or linguistically diverse to become climate active. By translating complex climate information into accessible and culturally appropriate messaging, MLI inspires multicultural Australians to participate in climate solutions every day.

As a cross-partisan not-for-profit charity, MLI works with leaders from across the religious, cultural, and political spectrum to find common ground, recognising that everyone starts somewhere. MLI uses evidence-based research to develop trusted messages and strong relationships across the multicultural and climate sectors to identify, build and deploy trusted messengers that expand and accelerate the groundswell towards a climate-safe future for all.
