Come to learn the things you need to know so that you  select the right solar system for your home from the start so that you will have a system that will work well and last long term. You will also learn how to make sure your system is working properly and about how to maintain it.

There will be a panel discussion of experts including:

  • Stuart Gordon from IQ Solar

  • Kosta Boukas from Power Smart Solutions

  • Vasilios Giotis from Blue Green Engineering

Please arrive for a 6pm start.

Speakers:

Stuart Gordon

Stuart Gordon is one of the owners of IQ Solar based in Sydney and has been involved in solar power since 2010 in both residential and commercial solar power sectors.

During this period, Stuart has worked on thousands of residential projects and dozens of small and large commercial projects. The types of buildings where he’s installed solar are cool stores, schools, new building developments and public organisations.

He is highly knowledgeable in the solar industry and has spoken at many community events as an expert educator.

Kosta Boukas

Kosta is the NSW sales manager for PowerSmart Solutions. Kosta started his residential solar career in Australia in 2011. In the past, Kosta was also involved in numerous construction projects (outside the solar field) both in Australia and overseas.

His extensive experience and professional journey have molded his philosophy where he believes that:

  • Solar sales consultants must be technically proficient. This ensures that all client needs, and technical issues are understood and resolved before the installation team sets foot on the site.
  • Sales is another word for problem solving.
  • Communication is key and he believes that solar sales consultants should meet with clients face-to-face to ensure that all of the needs are understood.

This will ensure that solar systems are installed once and will not need extensive repairs over their lifetime.  Therefore, Kosta has many insights on how to get the most out of your solar system.
