What Is The Story So Far?

Open Woodland Restoration is a reforestation design that has social, environmental, financial and productivity benefits.

26 FEB 26 - Social Benefits of Open Woodland Restoration Town Hall (video)

At this event we heard from 3 farmers about their own stories of Open Woodland Restoration. We learned the origin of Open Woodland Restoration and it's landscape scale potential.

26 MAR 26 - Environmental Benefits of Open Woodland Restoration (video)

At this event we came up with the 'Map Your Farm' feature, which enabled the Farm Snapshot to be created. (try it now). Now landholders have a simple way of answering the question "What Do I Have?"

30 APR 26 - Financial Benefits of Open Woodland Restoration (video)

At this event we co-designed the Open Woodland Restoration Financial Impacts Calculator (see website) and this enables landholders to answer "What Is It Worth?".

25 MAY 26 - Farm Visit to Open Woodland Restoration - Ticket

At this event we visit 'Waminda' the farm of Dr Geoff Kay a pioneer of Open Woodland Restoration. You can see for yourself what a mature restoration and an establishing restoration project look like and ask questions directly in the field.

28 MAY 26 - Productivity Benefits of Open Woodland Restoration

At this event we will refine the Grazing Impacts Calculator (see website) and establish systems for ongoing support. We answer the question at a collective and individual level "How Do We Tell Our Story?"

There government incentives today (and in the pipeline) for the restoration of Open Woodland and joining this co-design process will expose you to these opportunities.
