These unique environments are facing increasing pressure from urban development, habitat fragmentation and invasive species.

About Steve McCabe

Steve has managed natural areas for local government, supported the operations of specialist nurseries, served as Executive Director of an environmental charity and travelled throughout Western Australia as part of Beyond Gardens, a team of garden sustainability advisors.

Steve also delivers training for Switch Your Thinking and the Dieback Working Group. Through ReWild Perth, he combines his passion for biodiversity, practical experience in habitat restoration, and commitment to empowering everyday people to take meaningful environmental action in their gardens and communities.

This event is part of the City's Seniors Week celebrations.
