Description

Climate Action Schools — 2026 Partner School Information Session for Business Managers & Leaders

Practical Strategies, Cost Savings & Industry Partnerships to Lead Sustainability Change

About this Session

This 5-hour in-person catered workshop is your opportunity to understand how schools are activating carbon plans, reducing waste removal costs, and accessing industry-backed support to implement circular systems as an income stream.

You’ll gain industry strategies to integrate ‘sustainability in action’ through Functional Sustainability systems used by industry. Using LEAN principles, resource recovery and circular economy practices aligned to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) outcomes and the V9 curriculum — while strengthening leadership, school culture, and operational efficiency.

Hear case studies from Climate Action Schools (such as Woodridge & Shailer Park SHS) and see how schools are turning “waste” into recoverable resources, measuring savings, and building student career pathways to industry.

This briefing is also the official Expression of Interest pathway for the 2026 Industry ESG Partnership Round — where 4 schools will be subsidised through CAS industry partners including Cummins, and the Qld Govt North Coast Manufacturing Hub
