This workshop is a collaboration between Business South and Sarox, a web design, software development and consultancy firm based at the start-up hub Enterprize in Hobart.
In this 2-hour workshop you will learn and be guided as to find out if your idea is worth proceeding to business plan stage and if your concept could be turned into a potentially profitable business. You will learn about important aspects you should look at as part of doing your numbers and assessing the commercial feasibility of your business.
This includes:
• How to set your personal budget so you know how much you need to survive
• How to set a budget for your small business and do some sales forecasting
• What a break-even analysis is and why it is important to do one
• How to go about pricing strategies for your small business idea
Vaughan Smith, the presenter for the day, a former NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme) trainer and consultant with a background in finances, has helped countless small businesses to get to the next step in their small business journey. He knows how to break down the process of crunching the numbers in an easy to follow and non daunting fashion.
This workshop is presented by Business South, in collaboration with Sarox,
under the umbrella of the Australian Government program called the Entrepreneurship Facilitator program. The completion of a consent form is mandatory on the day before the commencement of the workshop
