"How To Do The Work" half day training and Q&A

DATE: Wednesday 25 October 2023

TIME: 9am - 1pm

VENUE: Newcastle Museum, 6 Workshop Way, Newcastle

COST: $300 +Booking Fee

This small group, trauma informed interactive training hosted by Matt and Sarah Brown is intended for anyone working in the family violence/sexual violence space or whose mahi/work touches upon the lives of people impacted by family violence - specialist clinicians and advocates, support staff, teachers, police, social workers, health professionals, family lawyers, therapists, community workers and leaders, government funders and policy advisors, academics and researchers.

This is NOT a look and learn; this is an experience based upon participation and vulnerability while building competence, self-awareness, empathy and courage into those who are first responders of the pandemic that is domestic violence. This is MORE than a staff development tick box exercise.

Refund policy

:: IF YOU CAN NO LONGER ATTEND: If you cancel less than 7 days before the training, and you or the organisers are not able to register someone else in your place - except for the death of a member of your immediate family, no refund will be given. :: CANCELLATION BY SHE IS NOT YOUR REHAB (SINYR): If SINYR cancel the training due to death, illness, family emergency or hospitalisation, your ticket fee will be refunded. No refund or responsibility will be held by SINYR should a flight arranged for this event be delayed or cancelled and they cannot get there in time for the allocated event time - if this is the reason the training is cancelled, your ticket will not be refunded. If the training is cancelled due to natural/environmental disaster/emergency (such as flood, earthquake, fire etc) 50% of your ticket cost will be refunded. :: AGREEMENT: By purchasing your ticket you are agreeing to this refund policy.
