How to Have a Child Centered Divorce Workshop Series consists of three separate sessions designed to provide support to parents as they navigate the divorce process. April's workshop will focus on children and divorce. More specifically, how to have a child centered divorce. Topics will include creating a divorce narrative, supporting your child's emotions, knowing when and how to get them help, and ways to prioritize their needs during and after the divorce.

A Little Bit About the Presenters

Kate Alcamo, LCMFT is a therapist and owner of Family Therapy Center of Bethesda (FTCB). She is a trained Collaborative Divorce professional and serves as Child Specialist in Collaborative cases. Hallie Strauss, PsyD is a licensed Psychologist in private practice in the Bethesda area. She currently works as a parent coordinator, evaluator, case manager, and therapist for families going through the process of separation and divorce.
