Runs Every Tuesday
The Program will be held at different locations around Goulburn. The location will be notified to the Parent/Guardian the week prior to the activity as some weeks can swap or changed based on weather conditions. Participants will need to have there own transport organised to and from the activities.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.

With social media being one of the largest ways of communication, many of our communities young people are having less face to face positive community/ peer to peer connection. Lets help break the cycle of phones, computers, TV's and video games. Join us in some outdoor recreational summer activities, meeting new people, fresh air, physical fitness and lots of fun!
Rough 8 week agenda
Week 1 - Introduction, get to know the group, team activities and games (Goulburn Community Centre)
Week 2 - Fishing @ the Goulburn Mulwaree River, Fishing gear will be provided ( participants are welcome to bring their own gear if they have their own)
Please note: Our local river contains certain fish species that if caught we are not permitted to return to the water such as Carp & Redfin. If these species are caught we will have to abide by these rules. Please speak to your young person if you feel this may or may not be an activity they are comfortable with. We will also have the conversation on week 1 as a part of our introduction.
Week 3- Soccer- We will split into 2 teams. Start with an introduction to game rules. Run an approximate 40min game, stop for a drink and snacks then jumble our teams for a 2nd 40min game.
Week 4 - Touch Football - We will split into 2 teams. Start with an introduction to game rules. Run an approximate 40min game, stop for a drink and snacks then jumble our teams for a 2nd 40min game
Week 5 - Bush Walk Rocky Hill & Wetlands - We will start at the Wetlands, make our way up the Rocky Hill bush walk then return to the wetlands loop. Enjoy nature and hopefully see some kangaroos and other wildlife. We Will finish up our day with some sausages on the BBQ
Week 6 - Fishing @ the Goulburn Mulwaree Rive
Week 7 & 8- Co-Design Activity - Over the term as a group we will choose together what activities we will do for week 7 & 8. This gives our young people the opportunity to be apart of our planning and engage in something they are interested in.
