How to Influence Food Behaviour Change in the Workplace

Price £49 – £79 GBP + BF Get Tickets

Event description

Are you a sustainability professional or green champion working to engage people with changing their food and food waste behaviours in your workplace?

Do you organise corporate events and are keen to increase plant-based meals or reduce food wasted?

Would you like people you work with to embrace certifications and minimum standards?

It can be frustrating when you are passionate about conscious food choices, reducing carbon and waste impacts and those around you don’t seem to think about what they consume.

Applying Behaviour Change principles could help you:

  • Understand the barriers and frictions to changing consumption habits
  • Identify the motivators and levers for change
  • Communicating in ways that engage them and align with their values, interests or ways of thinking

Join Sustainability and Behaviour Change Consultant, Livvy Drake for this 1.75 hour online workshop, where she will show you how behaviour change principles can transform your approach to food choice and food waste communications.

You will learn about:

  • Tried and tested mechanisms used for changing food behaviours
  • Behavioural science frameworks to use as checklists for your ideas and interventions

This will be an interactive workshop with time for you to apply the concepts to your own food  challenges.

To get the most out of the training it is recommended you watch the pre-record session which is included in the price.

About the trainer

Trained over 895 changemakers

Lead Sidekick Livvy Drake has been working with the principles of behaviour change since 2015 when she started working on waste and plastics campaigns.

As a Sustainability practitioner, she identified that fellow sustainability leads and environmentalists were limiting the impact of their work by falling into the traps of assuming awareness raising was enough to drive change, or communicating their own values and drivers and being frustrated when others didn’t respond like they did.

Since 2018 Livvy has been delivering online and face-to-face behaviour change training. Clients include:  West Midlands Combined Authority, West of England Combined Authority, Arla Foods, Chartered Institute of Waste Managers, Travel West, Staffordshire Business and Environment Network), Oxford Instruments Plasma, Bristol Waste, Bachy Solentoche
