How (and why) to Kill a Fox

For 6 or so weeks a year, foxes feast on lambs; for the rest of the year, they prey on native birds and small mammals

To see a decline in foxes, we should aim to remove 65% or more from the landscape. This requires a multipronged approach. SHOOTING ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH

Join Aaron Stephens from Bass Coast Landcare's Invasive Species team for a demonstration on how to plan, implement, and monitor a fox control program, along with all the techniques available.

We will follow the presentation with a walk at the property of Clayton and Vanessa Fisher to demonstrate the techniques and discuss plan implementation.

No live baits for poisons will be used at this event. If you have concerns about the safety of using baiting as a control method, this is the perfect event to come to and ask questions.
