Event description

Social media can be an important marketing tool for many small businesses, but finding time to create, post and monitor your activities can be a challenge.

While there are over 118 social media platforms to choose from, the Meta Suite (Facebook and Instagram) continues to be some of the most effective to promote your business.
Whether you are looking to runs ads for the first or hundredth time this workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of Meta Ads Manager and create successful campaigns that provide you with more leads and in turn customers.

This workshop will cover

  • Why pressing the Boost Button is like going to the casino and playing the slots;
  • Understanding the Ads Manager dashboard – it’s the one part of Meta that rarely changes!
  • Setting up custom audiences so you can target your audience – just like the big businesses;
  • Crafting social ads that give you the best chance of success, it’s not about cat videos;
  • What are the metrics for you to focus on, so that you can assess the success of any campaign;
  • A simplified three step strategy to follow for all campaigns to generate more qualified leads, so that you stop wasting your time on tyre kickers; and
  • A simple and cost-effective strategy on how to re-engage past customers, for more lifetime customer value for your business.

By the end of this workshop, you will have the knowledge and confidence to effectively navigate Meta Ads Manager to create successful advertising campaigns that reach your customers, generate leads, and build your brand online.

About the presenter: Josh Oakey is the founder of Your Marketing Mindset, a Bunbury based business, helping service-based businesses get more leads & customers by refining marketing & communication strategies. This is done through working with business owners form a holistic approach to their marketing, sales and communication and empowering them to help as many people as they desire with what they are selling.

Josh’s drive is to see business and organisations thrive with consistent yet dynamic approaches to their communication to allow them to help more people and for them to realise their vision. Since 2014 Josh has helped thousands of businesses in the South West of WA (his home patch), and many more nationally and internationally grow their business using smart marketing and business strategies.

One of the successes of Josh’s strategies is to change from a “We do this” to a “What do you need?” narrative. This is done during the marketing and sales processes. Along with workshops, for small to medium groups, one on one coaching, and industry keynote addresses, Josh continues to focus on the strategies that have proven to work across all facets of business and not just the next “shiny object”. Businesses who have worked with Josh have seen more engagement, higher ROI and a more effective and measurable way of marketing their business, while developing themselves personally and professionally, through mindset shifts.

This workshop is presented as part of the Digital Solutions Program.
Please note by continuing the registration process you acknowledge and agree your information will be shared with the Commonwealth Department of the Treasury and the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science, and Resources for program evaluation and reporting purposes.
