Description
Join South East Local Land Services for an engaging field day to learn how to attract more birds to your property. Come for a morning birdwatch and discussion on some of the species in the area and what you can do to improve their habitat.
Event details:
This event is for any landholder who wants to understand how to improve woodland habitats on their land. Topics for the day include:
the different groups of birds and their habitat requirements
the importance of connectivity in the landscape
how to assess your own property for its habitat value
the actions you can take to improve habitat on your land
the broader benefits of restoring habitat.
We will also present the achievements of the Saving Our Scarlet Robin project that ran for 10 years, focusing on the threats to woodland birds and share the challenges and lessons learnt.

Please wear sturdy boots and bring your binoculars and a water bottle. Access to toilets is limited on this site.
Lunch will be provided; please make sure you list any dietary requirements when you register.
