Event description

Many people struggle with Shakespeare. He’s too old, too boring, and is forced on every school aged teenager who’d rather do anything else. Bogan Shakespeare’s Dr Sarah Courtis delivers ‘How to Shakespeare 101’, an intensive workshop on Shakespearean verse speech to demystify Shakespeare and make it accessible and understandable to all performers. With tricks of the trade to learn verse quickly, know what to emphasise, and why reading it in a book ain’t bonza, as well as a bonus section to translate it into Aussie slang! Learn from a professional Shakespearean actor, academic and comedy award winning BS team member and turn your Shakespeare nightmares into a ripper skill. Bloody Oath!
