A few days before Renew's national Sustainable House Day, we're bringing you an event on the economics of sustainable homes.

  • Using sustainability features to add sale value to your home

Kim Wilkinson, Energy Assessor and member of the Perth Renew team, recently sold his lovely home, jam packed with solar passive design features and low electricity bills, for a great price. He’ll be sharing what he’s learned about how to optimise the sale value of a more sustainable home.

  • Weighing up the costs and benefits of a more sustainable home

Architect Timo Bleeker, based in the Margaret River region, will talk us through the economics and benefits of using the energy-efficient Passivhaus principles in your new home.

  • Financing sustainable homes

And we are hoping to play you an exclusive video interview with a Green Home Loans broker, discussing trends in finance and valuation for more sustainable homes, and how WA compares.

Thurs 1 May 2025, 6-8pm

Binjar Room, City of Melville EcoHub, 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop WA 6150

Free, and open to Renew members, subscribers and the general public
