How to use your sewing machine

Join Sherlie for a one-off session on how to use a sewing machine.

In this class, you will:

Learn how to set up a machine
Service the machine, i.e. oil, and adjust for correct tension
Learn to troubleshoot when the machine isn’t sewing correctly
Learn some basic sewing skills, to make life easier when sewing your projects.

After completing this class, you are welcome to come along to the Fashion Upcycling classes. Note - these classes are limited to 15 and mostly held the first Saturday of every month, as part of Skill Share Saturdays at the Planetary Health Centre.

How to fit and alter garments
More basic sewing skills and techniques
