Aroha Greenwood, Senior Associate Workplace Law, MinterEllison
Aroha has over 17 years' experience as a legal practitioner in Western Australia and Queensland. She has worked across a diverse range of industries including in-house in aviation, insurance, health and aged care. Aroha has significant experience at the coal-face of enterprise bargaining, payroll compliance and auditing, contract and policy review and in dispute resolution. Having worked extensively in both employee and employer representation, Aroha thinks pragmatically when managing union relationships and resolving industrial disputes.
Aroha's clients include local government, pharmaceutical manufacturers, mining and construction, banking and insurance and not-for-profit community services.
Aroha has previously volunteered as a legal adviser within the community working with organisations such as Mental Health Law Centre of WA and Nundah Community Legal Centre (QLD). She now spends most of her spare time running after her soon-to-be-four year old son, Truman.
Danica Lamb, Lawyer Workplace Law, MinterEllison
Danica has experience in a broad range of employment law related issues. In particular, Danica has advised on numerous matters involving clients' 'front end' practice - including contract preparation and roll out, policy reviews and compliance with numerous Federal and State legislative schemes. She has experience in providing strategic advice on industrial relations and bargaining. In her work, she maintains focus on ensuring clients understand the practical steps which lie ahead.
Prior to joining MinterEllison Danica was working in the Law Enforcement Team for the Australian Government Solicitor, a group within the Attorney General's Department in Canberra. Danica's work focused on investigative and enforcement powers of the Commonwealth and assisting clients with the protection of sensitive or privileged information in national security and criminal matters in a range of courts and tribunals.

- changes to the pre-approval requirements and the Fair Work Commission’s (FWC’s) recently published ‘Statement of Principles on Genuine Agreement’
- the revised ‘Better off Overall Test’ which now requires the FWC to undertake a ‘global assessment’ of the proposed agreement against a modern award;
- the new streams of multi-enterprise bargaining and the FWC’s power to deal with bargaining disputes;
