The Humanities Research Centre (HRC) is one of Australia’s pre-eminent gateways to humanities scholarship throughout the world. For 50 years, the Centre has been a catalyst for innovative advanced research in and across the humanities nationally and internationally. We engage with and support all humanities related research disciplines, fields, and questions and are committed to facilitating public engagement with humanities knowledge and scholarship.
Join us for our 50th Birthday Morning Tea as we celebrate our history, look to the future and of course, have tea!
We will taking this opportunity to launch the Humanities Research Journal special edition “Public Humanities of the Future: Museums, Archives, Universities and Beyond”, with copies available for purchase on the day from ANU Press.
We will also launch the latest HRC Annual Report (2023-2024) and cut our 50th Birthday Cake.
