Event description

Struggle with persuasive and discursive writing??

In this HSC Trial Crash Course, we’re going to help you master discursive and persuasive writing for the new HSC English Syllabus and Module C! In this 3 hour workshop during the school holidays we’re going to help you:

  • Figure out what sort of examples you need to include within your responses

  • Structure a Band 6 discursive and persuasive piece

  • Take a deep dive into key Module C texts which use the persuasive and discursive forms

  • Incorporate a Module C stimulus into your responses

  • Include themes from other modules into your response

  • Write a reflection for a discursive or persuasive piece

Why is it important to master this now?

Due to the nature of the questions in the new HSC syllabus, learning and memorising a discursive or persuasive writing piece will not work. This workshop takes a skills-based approach which provides students with the tools they need to respond to any writing stimulus.

What’s included?
  • 3-hour workshop run by an experienced HSC English teacher!

  • Small personalised clas

  • A resource booklet that guides you through how to craft an amazing discursive and persuasive piece

  • Access to Bonus HSC Trial English Mock Exam (Paper 1 AND Paper 2!) & 1.5 Hour Exam Review Session worth $99!
