Most West Auckland homes could be saving thousands on their energy bills each year, while also slashing emissions, simply by upgrading their gas and petrol machines to the electric equivalents available today - and ideally powering them with solar and batteries for more self-sufficiency in case of power cuts or natural disasters.
Auckland has crossed the “electrification tipping point” where homes, farms and businesses can now save money and reduce their emissions by going electric. It’s a massive win-win and a lot of people don’t know about the potential savings that are hiding in their cupboards, kitchens and driveways.
